Freedom Day, Black History Month
February 1, 2021
#BlackHistoryMonth | Black History Month is an annual observance originating in the United States, where it is also known as African-American History Month. It began as a way of remembering important people and events in the history of the African diaspora. Respect: if you have a track record of support for racial equality and justice (especially in light of 2020 events), now is the perfect time to celebrate your efforts in that area. Important: do NOT promote a position you haven’t previously held or that isn’t part of your brand’s mission, for it will look disingenuous to your fans/followers.
