Pinot Noir Day
August 18, 2020
Pinot Noir Day celebrates the world’s most popular light-bodied red wine. Pinot Noir grapes are grown around the world, mostly in the cooler climates, and is quite difficult to grow, harvest and use to make wine. Did you know: the name Pinot Noir comes from the French words for “pine” and “black.” We like fruity Pinots with salmon, roasted chicken or pasta, whereas the bigger, more tannic Pinots pair well with game birds, casseroles or stews.
