#NationalCocoaDay | Cocoa was first used to make hot chocolate by the Aztecs (a drink called “xocolatl,” or bitter water). The terms “hot chocolate” and “hot cocoa” are often used interchangeably. Hot chocolate is made from ground chocolate which contains cocoa butter and mixed with warm milk. Hot cocoa is made from cocoa beans that are fermented, dried, roasted then ground.
