#NationalSmoresDay | The origin of this tasty snack is credited to the entrepreneur Alec Barnum. A S’more is a contraction of the phrase, “some more,” traditionally cooked using the campfire. A marshmallow is heated until golden brown and sandwiched between two halves of a graham cracker and a piece of chocolate. Gimme S’more: not everyone has the luxury of a fire pit outside their tasting room…so let’s work with a safer option. If you have a S’mores-flavored anything on the menu, by all means promote that. Otherwise conduct a tasting that pairs the component flavors (marshmallow, graham and chocolate) each with a beer, wine or whiskey.
