In my Sacramento Bee interview with Benjy Egel we discussed successful craft beer marketing in the Sacramento market. Overall, breweries in Sacramento are leveraging storytelling opportunities at a level of 57%. This means that by my evaluation, which compares breweries on a weighted scale across a variety of marketing attributes, there is a lot of room for marketing to help build brand loyalty and sales starting with owned media (website, visitor experience, etc.) and earned media (social, public relations) before having to pay exponentially more for advertising.
